Hooray! A new play gets it’s wings. I had a reading in Chi-Town about two weeks ago, but lazy-ass me just got around to writing about it. And you call yourself a Playwright. Ha!

Well I’m happy to say that the reading went well.

My Director was on the money, and I hear the cast was too. Now if I get a full-blown production they’ll be no stopping me.What’s “The Dynamics of Do-Gooders” about, you ask?

Here’s the synopsis:

“The Ravenwood Community Association has invited the Greater Shiloh Community Association to their monthly meeting however, throughout the meeting both associations discover that each has profoundly different, eye-opening beliefs that each group finds wildly offensive. The meeting becomes difficult because both sides know, without a shadow of a doubt, how “the community good” should BEST be practiced and applied.”

There’s a healthy wealth of laughs along with some good-size drama. We’ll see if good fortune is meant to be.
